I am a consultant geoscientist with specialist interests in environmental management and conservation issues relating to geology, landforms (geomorphology) and soils. For (slightly) more details on my professional interests and areas of expertise, download my CV or click on the "Professional" button to the left.
This website is currently little more than a hobby - I'm just playing with it, really. So I dont care if Google can find me or not...but you will find some useful documents here relating to geoconservation, coastal landform management, and some of my other areas of interest. I partly set this web page up as a resource that I can direct people to as necessary.
Perhaps one day I might find the time to make this website look more professional...
Some of the links external links might be dead...honestly, I mean to get around to updating this website, if only people would stop pressuring me to work for them, so that I can get the time...
The "Pics" section of this website is just silly and self-indulgent stuff, really!

Background photo: Nye Bay, on the highly exposed southwest
coast of Tasmania, has been receding (eroding) for several decades
now; it is likely that the effects of sea level rise (which re-commenced
circa 1890) are a major part of the cause.
